Guru Conference & Exhibition

The Guru Conference is a continuing initiative to honour great luminaries of wisdom whose lives and teachings continue to shape human thought and culture. Conceived as a platform for dialogue and discovery, it brings together scholars, practitioners and the wider public to explore their journeys, experiences and legacies. The first editions featured Guru Padmasambhava, held in Bhutan (2016) and at the India International Centre, New Delhi (2019). In 2025, the series will focus on Atīśa Dīpaṃkara Śrījñāna, with a conference and exhibition highlighting his life, travels and enduring contribution to Buddhist philosophy, practice and cross-cultural exchange.
