India-Bhutan Dialogues
The CEP focuses on convening India-Bhutan Dialogues where the free exchange of ideas can take place. Under the banner of The Thimphu Seminars, these Track II dialogues are being held at a bilateral level between Bhutan and India. To date, nine rounds of the India-Bhutan Dialogue have taken place with the tenth round scheduled to be held in November 2019.
Asia-Pacific Schools Initiative
The Asia-Pacific Schools Initiative is a biennial educational programme that will bring together students and teachers of the Asia-Pacific region to create a network of future leaders, developing and nurturing in each one of them the capacity to exercise “Leadership through Serene Strength”.
Conference on Guru Padmasambhava
Guru Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche is known as the Sage of Himalayas. He lived in the 8th century and is credited with having spread the message of Lord Buddha to the countries and regions located in the Himalayan belt. The Conference seeks to explore the life and legacy of Guru Padmasambhava in their various dimensions.
Philosophers’ Retreat
The retreat brings together eminent thinkers from the field of education, government, business and civil society. The aim is to have an open discussion about the challenges in education and how the system could be equipped to ultimately benefit the learner in an ever-changing world.
