April 2019:  India-Bhutan Dialogue in Thimphu, Bhutan

The ninth round of the India-Bhutan Dialogue, organized by the Centre for Escalation of Peace in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Governance & Strategic Studies (RIGSS) took place on 8 and 9 April 2019. The focused areas of discussions were on People to People Exchange, Information and Communications Technology, Economic Cooperation and Trans-Boundary Issues. A special lunch was hosted by H.E. Mr. Jaideep Sarkar, Ambassador of India to Bhutan and farewell dinner was hosted by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Royal Government of Bhutan with special performance by the Royal Academy of Performing Arts. The Indian Delegates also met with The Prime Minister of Bhutan, Hon. Lyonchhen (Dr) Lotay Tshering and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Lyonpo (Dr.) Tandi Dorji.
